Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator
Job Duties:
Performs new hire on boarding procedures and employee termination tasks. Maintains employee personnel files, HR policies and procedures and the employee handbook. Responds to employee inquiries regarding human resources policies, procedures and programs. Conducts employment verification and background checks. Maintains Human Resources Information System (HRIS.
- Administers benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Disability, Worker's Compensation, COBRA etc) and assists in benefits open enrollment season, including broker/carrier negotiation. Administers company's 401(k) plan.
- Prepares reports to federal and state governments and regulatory agencies as required. Coordinates all Workmen's Comp claim filing, processing and follow-up. Processes Unemployment claims and participates fact-finding interviews. Conducts insurance carrier's annual Workers' Comp audit.
- Administers company-wide training programs. Assists with performance evaluation program.
Salary: $81,000/year.
